Dharmesh Patel, MD

Dr. Patel first became familiar with the Binghamton area during his undergraduate studies at Binghamton University in 1993. He graduated in 1997, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He then completed medical school in 2001 from Upstate Medical University, College of Medicine in Syracuse, NY. During his medical school training, he returned to Binghamton to complete some of his clerkships and later one year of internal medicine internship. 

Dr. Patel then went on to complete a neurology residency in Syracuse followed by subspecialty fellowship training near the Boston area at the Lahey Clinic in clinical neurophysiology (expertise in EMG and EEG).  In addition, he did a fellowship in sleep medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.  Thereafter, fate brought him back to our medical community in 2008 and he has been proudly serving as part of our neurology team since then. 

Dr. Patel is board certified in adult neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and sleep medicine.
